Obituary of Marguerite Finley

FINLEY, Marguerite (nee Robinson) - born Aug 1915, Passed away peacefully Jan 1, 2012 and has gone to be with God. Predeceased by husband John Finley, 1977. Deeply loved by her five children Richard, Patricia Sacret, Laurel Gibson, Neil, Elizabeth and her husband Stan White. Loved by her four grandchildren Andrew, Cameron, Bradley Sacret, V. Ashley Gibson and step-granddaughter Hillary White. Leaves her sister Irene Barton and other family members. Marguerite studied nursing at Ross Memorial, Lindsay. Spent many years supply teaching at Base Borden Collegiate. A wonderful mom and a great friend to all. To her extended family of staff and friends at St. Joseph's Life Care, our deepest gratitude for your loving care. At Marguerite's request cremation will have taken place. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, on Thursday, January 5th, from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, January 7th, at 11:00 a.m. All donations to St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre in lieu of flowers if desired. A tree will be planted memory of Marnie in the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest. By Marnie's example, give kindness every day.
