Obituary of Olive Boone

BOONE Olive Enid (nee Pilgrim) "Heaven has received a new angel" Peacefully at her daughter's home on Sunday, November 27th, 2011 surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 67. Much loved wife of Doug Boone. Loving mother of Kim (Paul) Watt, Kirk (Kerry) Boone and Kelly (John) Boone. Special nanny of Katelyn, Jordan, Olivia, Joshua, Alex, Abby, Karsen and Emma. Olive is survived by her mother Annie Pilgrim and siblings Alvohn, Nelson, Lindy, Lewis, Dan, Dave, Shirley, Lucy, Cassie, and Jackie and their spouses and children. Predeceased by her father Chesley Pilgrim. Olive was a devoted and loving caregiver to her family and in her professional career. She will be greatly missed by all mentioned along with numerous friends and relatives from both Newfoundland and Ontario. Friends will be received at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Wednesday, November 30th from 7- 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 1 p.m. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the Palliative Care Unit, Brantford General Hospital or Lions McInnes House would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Olive in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
