Doug was a long time member of St. James the Apostle Church in Brampton. He was very creative and did many wood carvings as well as making wooden flower stands for the Sanctuary. He worked as Caretaker for a number of years. Whenever there was a project needing volunteers he was always first to step up. He loved his time in Brampton but wanted to spend as much time with Meaghan and her family and eventually moved to be closer to her.
