David and I met at a CIHC event in 2019 just before Covid. We shared the same sense of humour. He attributed his to his Grandpa Wright. When he was looking for a new home in Brantford, I offered to let him live in my home on the Grand. and we became "family". David shared my love of Nature, the sunrises and sunsets, and the Grand River and all the birds and animals we had the opportunity to view, especially the red-tailed hawks as they bred and raised their families, and the dog next door, Titan, whom we constantly "borrowed".

Our neighbours Ernie and Linda miss him dearly. So do I! But it was time for him to shed his body and move on. He is still with us in memory and in spirit.
