Condolences
Our Condolences to you and your family, Jack was a lovely man and wonderful neighbour. He will be missed.
Val and Herm Schmidt
Jack was such a wonderful man: he was a talented painter, great story teller and the king of puns. He had a great sense of humour and quick wit. I loved listening to his stories about his many adventures and even the everyday occurrences.
Warren and I treasure the beautiful paintings he created for us; My beautiful bridge painting and the funny paintings he created of Warren. Jack shared many stories with us over the years and it did not matter how many he told us, there was always another one that we hadn't heard yet, that had us in stitches or in awe. He could have written a book!
One of my favourites was when Tara, June and Jack crossed to border to go to Mary Maxims and the guard looked at him sitting in the back seat and asked, "Sir, are you being taken there against your will?" He gave the most desperate pleading look and said "yes".
We were so happy when they moved to Sarnia and so sad when they moved away. I'm glad that we had to chance to visit as often as we did. Jack will be greatly missed by both of us. Our heartfelt condolences to Tara, June and all of the family.
Carol and Warren Graham
Jack was a lovely, thoughtful neighbour and a great conversationalist. We loved gathering with him to hear his stories or stand in awe of his artistic talents. He will be very much missed in our community. Our great sympathy goes to Tara, June, and family.
