My Amanda, my pigeon... Amanda was a pure soul, she may have been born with disabilities that had made it impossible for her to walk or talk but Amanda did not need to walk or talk to communicate with all of us. She expressed herself, her way! She was unique, she didn't blend in.. she stood out and she brought people together. She was the glue that bound love.. that bound us all.. I sit here now and I think about the first time I had seen Amanda, as all children she was so vulnerable. so beautiful and she stole my heart and I was filled with this need to protect her. I was her Aunt and she was my joy!
Many people have come and gone from Amanda's life but I know they were blessed by knowing her, by caring for her. Amanda changed lives and although my heart is broken I know that she is at peace, she flies with the angels.
You were so very loved by so many Amanda. Thank you for giving us 25 years.. you will be greatly missed.
