Papple, June Rosina Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer, at her home on Thursday, January 25th, 2018 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon McMullen, and the late James Papple. Loving mother of the late Thomas, Gord, and Mike McMullen, Margaret (Mike) Curry, David (Denise) Papple, and Dawn (Michael) Rafferty. Devoted grandmother of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will also be fondly remembered by Jackie McMullen, Don Schut, and her many other family members and friends. June was a well known, long time member of the St. George Legion. Her family would like to thank her sister Linda, for being there for June throughout the last few years. We couldn't have done it without you. A Legion Service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Sunday from 2 - 4 p.m., and on Monday from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of June in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
