Obituary of Freda Callaway

Callaway, Freda May Louise (nee Hardsand) Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 20th, 2016 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Harvey David Callaway (2000). Loving mother of Kathy (Roger) Campbell, Karen (Richard) Attwell, Krista (Larry) Stone, Karol (Louie) Vellenga, Kevin (Debbie), Kelly (Sherri), and the late Kenneth (1982). Devoted grandmother and great-grandmother of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Marina (Cecil) King, and predeceased by her sister Betty-Lou, and her brothers Ron, George, Joe, Fred, and Kenny Hardsand. She will be fondly remembered by all of her family members and friends. Freda's family was her life. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 -9 p.m. and on Monday from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow, in the chapel, on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Onondaga. Donations to the Stedman Community Hospice - Hankinson House, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Liver Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Freda in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
