My deepest condolences to Shirley and the Allan family. Gord "Biggie" Allan was a great friend, he was always there for his golfing friends and buddies at North-Ridge Golf Club. I have so many great and fond memories of "Biggie" playing golf, having a drink or two, talking about hockey and hockey pools, talking about work and CUPE, travelling to Miami, Florida, the many golf tournaments and of course the Surgeon Falls golf tournament, etc. You'll be missed my friend. It's not good-bye but until we meet again.
RIP my good friend you will be missed Brother I will always remember
•Prayers and fond memories are what we have to remember our dearly departed. May the love of family and friends comfort you during these difficult days, my most heartfelt condolences go out to shirley and family, he will be missed. RIP Biggey.
Denis Sauve and familly.
R.I.P. Biggie zowbrowsky always had fun and made me laugh at Little Moe golf tournament and great times at the Lincoln motel ...rip Gord,,,,Red
My sincerest condolences, Shirley and the Allan family, on Gord's passing.
As Gord and I were both members of London Civic Employees Local 107, we shared the "Cityhog" brotherhood, and spent many hours talking shop and politics over beers, at conventions or in the Union hall. Gord was a great mentor, along with all off the other CUPE office characters, Gordie Mac, Paul, Bruce, Roger, Muz and Evelyn, as well as the "activities co-ordinator" for conventions. His loyalty and support for our Local during the 1979 strike is legendary, the Social Contract negotiations, as well as the strike for improved benefits in 2000. Gord was always there to offer support, advice and assistance, as well as his sense of humour, to Local 107 and the labour movement in London and area. Gord spoke often of the love and pride for his family, and I know he will be sorely missed.
Long may you run, Brother.
To Biggie's family: Biggie and I spent a lot of time together at many CUPE National Conventions and at our last one together in Montreal we found out the sun came up at 6:14 am while we were on our way back to our hotel. My sincerest condolences. Biggie was one of a kind and even though he has passed his memories will live forever.

Gord and I were the best of friends and I remember his Mom and Dad when they lived just above the blackfriars bridge.
Also we did get to play a game of golf back a few years along with John Cricklaw and we had alot of fun that day.
Knowing Gord when we were growing up in London and seeing his lovely family and wife Shirley today.
It makes me very proud to say you did very well and were a very special buddy to me.
Biggie was a one of a kind and will be missed. The red nose, the cowboy hat and the rest of his traveling kit are gone now.
Shirley please accept condolances for you and the family from Debbie and I.
There are so many stories of the crazy things Biggie got us involved in, shooting at submarines from the balcony of a hotel in Myrtle Beach, All the visits to Bill Stanleys in Ashville,Biggies annual surprise visit to florida where he would be waiting at the TIKI bar forJohn and I in full regalia.Renting the helicopter to fly us to the first tee at Sturgeon Falls there are just to many. I will always rember Gordie.
Shirley, Shelley and family - my sincere condolences - Gord was Gord - had so much fun together - trips to Florida , concerts in West Virginia, whatever it was - lots of memories and lots of fun - seeing your picture video brings back a lot of great memories.
Stay strong - and know he was a great guy - always was there for me when I came up through CUPE when there were not a lot of female reps - so sorry for your loss.
My boys always remember Mr. Allan, the guy who helped them with the various hockey card collection - they are still in my basement - the boxes and multiple McDonalds Card collections -
I am sorry that I cannot be there on Saturday but hope to touch base with you before then.
Take care and sending hugs and kisses
Linda Thurston-Neeley and Ron and Noel Clancy
