Margaret Whitmore(Atkinson) was my Godmother. My mother Ruth M. James was also from beautiful Saskatchewan.
My mother & Margaret always kept in touch. Margaret always remembered my birthday. I still remember the good times we had in Long Branch(Etobicoke, Toronto),I have gifts that Margaret gave me for my birthday, one is ceramic ballet shoes which I still have.This year I had not received a Christmas card from her. I called her between Christmas/New Years & spoke to her. I am so glad I called & spoke to her. Margaret & my mother are both in peace & looking over us. My mother was 95 when she left me. It must be the great Saskatchewan life, air & people in this great province..When my mother passed away Margaret gave me the strength to carry on. I always thought of her as my second Mother. May you rest in peace. You will be laid to rest up where my mother, father & brother are resting. Love you, miss you & you will always be in my thoughts. Love Ruthmary
