Obituary of Maxine Watson

WATSON, Maxine Margaret - Passed away peacefully at Brantford General Hospital on Friday, March 15, 2015. Maxine is survived by her Mother Grace; her siblings Bob, Beyrl, Darlene, Ruth and Judy. Maxine will be deeply missed by many loving friends, including Brock and Betty-Ann; and her nieces and nephews including Kathleen and Julie and Grand-nephews and niece Gavin, Owen and Hannah. A memorial service will take place at St. James Cemetery in Toronto at a later date, and will be announced in the Brantford Expositor in Mid-June. Maxine spoke so well of the many doctors and nurses that cared for her during her long struggle with cancer. In particular, Maxine appreciated and often spoke of the kindness and humor of Dr. Lee. For that reason, Maxine would appreciate any donations in her honor be made to the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation, and designated to Cancer Care or Cancer.ca https://bchsfoundation.thankyou4caring.org/sslpage.aspx?pid=298. A tree will be planted in memory of Maxine in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
