Dear Joan - I was sorry to learn of the passing of your mother Shirley. I have fond memories of visits with you at your family home during our school days - your mother always was graciously welcoming. And, both your mother and father showed a good example about caring for the senior people in a family by providing such a nice place for your grandmother in your home - that has stayed with me through all of these years.
