CAMPBELL, Roy Lloyd - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, October 19th, 2010 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of June. Loving father of Karen and her husband David Peters, Brad and his wife Melissa Prong and Wayne Campbell. Caring "Poppy" of Erin, Christopher, Rachel, Alyssa, Braydon and Jordan. Predeceased by his sister June Kaufman and brother Fred Campbell. Roy was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 605 (St. George Legion). Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Margaret Shortell officiating. Interment St. George Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Roy in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
