Condolences
Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.
Merle and Dix....together. God's circle has now been completed. Your Mother was a lady of class. Even though your hearts are hurting right now, I hope that you are able to enjoy the value Merle gave to others lives. She always cared, challenged, supported, gave and loved, which encouraged others to do their best for her. We had just been talking with Bruce and Alyssa about her this past Sunday and I will forever see her in my mind standing in the audience of the concert hall to wave at her adult son who was part of a mass choir this past winter. She wanted him to know that she was there and supported him. That one gesture conveyed all....She loved her family! May God's Blessing be with you Merle.
I worked with Merle at Christmas Baskets for the 15 years that she was there. She met my husband, Frank & I one day in a store & invited us to work with her in the toy department of Christmas Baskets. We worked on the "used toys" & spent many days over the years with her from late October to January. She was always cheerful & her particular love was the doll section. For years she collected them & if they needed dressing she always found time to do that job. When Merle was no longer working with us ,she still found dolls for us. I also worked with Merle at Brant Branch of the Genealogy Society. She was the newsletter editor for a time. Reading her obituary,I realize that she had a full life & I'm glad to have shared a small part with her. Audrey
I would like to send my condolences to all of the family. It was and honour and privilege to know your mother. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time Love Gail, Gene, Tara, Tricia, and Hannah McKimm
It was such a pleasure to know Merle. I know that the Agency highly regarded her husband, T. Dixon Moor, and in 1988, began an Award in his name for a former CAS Ward, who has attained a significant level of personal improvement, including educational and vocational achievement. Merle presented that award for many, many years and she was a wonderful warm and caring speaker at our Annual Meetings. I personally admired her strength and charm and have missed her these past few years when she was not able to attend. She will be missed by all that she touched.
I remember Mrs. Moor from BCI Guidance Department. I was a student attending BCI in the 70's. Mrs. Moor always had a smile on her face, and you could always count on her doing her best for you. She has made many friends along her journey here, and she is heavens gain. Please except my condolences on the loss of a beautiful lady.
May GOD bless her soul and accept her in his realm where she will find peace and eternal life! With sympathies from your friends at Ottawa Preceptory 32! Khalil
