Obituary of Thomas Tucker

TUCKER, Thomas "Tom" It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Tom on Wednesday, July 8th, 2009, in his 97th year. Loving husband of the late June Tucker for over 65 years. Devoted father of Robert (Georgina) and Raymond (Carol) Tucker. Cherished grandfather of Cathy, John, Michael and Chris and great-grandfather of 8. He will also be dearly missed by many other family and friends. Thomas was a very proud employee of RBC for over 44 years and he served in the R.C.A.F. from 1941-1946. Tom was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergent. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, on Sunday, July 12th, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in Tom's memory at the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
