Condolences
My sympathies to your whole family. Around RiverView, I always thought of Tom as a quiet gentleman and I sure miss him when I make the rounds at "Happy Hour" on Fridays when he would most often be seated in the vestibule, directing traffic out front. He also wielded a mean pool cue as I learned a few times. Savour your memories of the "good ol' days".
It is with sadness I send my condolences to your family with the passing of Tom. I knew Tom and June as part of the St. Stephen's Anglican Church congregation/family. Later, it was a pleasure to take their picture for the Grace Church photo directory while they were at Riverview. Tom always had a caring disposition and a pleasant word. God Bless, Renee Anderson
Hi Ray and Bob, Georgina and Carol as well, When I say the announcement in the paper, it brought back so many thoughts of Westdale about 45 years ago. I won't reminisce now about them all. I did want to offer my condolences on your father's passing. It is a troubling time no matter when. Our parents are always dear people in our lives and the lives of all the children they come in touch with. Your dad did well making it into his 90's. The number of changes he saw in this world was tremendous and the experiences he had must have been many. I am sure he will be missed. Over the past half century I have had on and off contact with Mike Wright so I have received tiny bits of news along the way. To the four of you, health, wealth and happiness as your lives go forward. Jim
My thought are with you at this time of loss. Tom was a very Special person, and I will always remember the time spent with him, and your mother at the cottage when Nancy and Karen were young, and of course the Family Reunions. Dorothy
I wish to send my condolences on the passing of your father. I first met your father when I became employed with the Royal Bank in 1955. He was at that time the accountant and I remember him as one of the kindest person I have ever worked with. Needless to say, many years have passed since then so I was saddened to read about his passing. My thoughts are with you and I am truly honoured to have worked with your father at the RBC.
