Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
LOCKINGTON, Robert James - It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Rob, who died peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 in his 61st year. Beloved husband of Dale for close to 40 years. Loving father of Tyler, and Nikki. He is survived by his sisters Brenda (Ted) Arbuckle, and Mary Anne (Tom) Chown, and his brothers Mark, Jack (John), and Neil (Pat) Bradley. He will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Rob had a huge love of sports, participating in Golf, Baseball, Hockey, and Curling. After being diagnosed with MS in 1990, he continued his love for sports by fund raising for the MS Society's annual curling bonspiel. He faced his challenges with dignity and courage, never complaining about what he wasn't able to do. Rob was kind and supportive to everyone he knew, always there to cheer his friends on. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Robbie's Life will be held at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Monday, November 17th, 2014 from 4 - 8 p.m. Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ontario would be appreciated. Online condolences, donation and service details will be available at www.beckettglaves.com. A tree will be planted in memory of Robbie in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
