Obituary of Jeremy Plant

PLANT, Jeremy - It is with heavy hearts, his family announces the passing of Jeremy Plant, after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness, at the Hamilton General Hospital, on May 14th, 2013 in his 26th year. Beloved husband of Angela. Devoted father of Jacob and Noah. Loving son of Joe and Linda Plant, son-in-law of Kenny and Peggy Urwin, and Russ and Christie Wonch. He will also be fondly remembered by his sisters Jennifer (Ike), and Heidi (Trevor) Stott, and his brother Joey (Val), sister-in-law Alicia (Jason) Wonch, his grandparents Diane DeBoer, John (Debbie), and Betty (Butch), and many other family members and friends. During his life, Jeremy faced many challenges, all of which he faced head on, with no complaints. A special thank you goes out to his uncle Owen for giving him the opportunity to prove himself and to the guys at Advantage Auto for all of their support, and especially to Dr. Legault, Dr. Woodward, and all of the medical and support staff involved with Jeremy's journey. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant ave., on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 10-11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Salt Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a trust fund which has been set up for Jeremy's sons Jacob and Noah through TD Canada Trust Acct #2428-6274768, cheques to Kevin and Valerie Brooks In Trust. A tree will be planted in memory of Jeremy in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
