Obituary of Donna Sibbick

SIBBICK, Donna Mae (Nee Cole) - Passed away peacefully after a brief illness, at the Brantford General Hospital, on Monday, May 13, 2013 in her 86th year. Cherished friend of Lloyd Vanderburg. Beloved mother of five children, and ten grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by son Doug and Diana Sibbick, and daughter Marilyn Campbell. Predeceased by her son Wayne Sibbick (2006), grandson Tyler Sibbick (2004), and son-in-law Brad Campbell (2012). Devoted grandma to Rick Campbell, and the late Bradley Campbell (2006). Survived by her sisters Mary Churchill, and Vera Henry (Tony), and her nieces, and nephews. She had a great enthusiasm for life and brought joy and laughter into everyone's life with her simple yet keen sense of humour. She will be remembered as a loving mother, a kind and considerate grandma, and a caring friend. She was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #90. A Legion Service will be held on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. "She wishes her family and friends not to weep, but to carry on and be just as strong as she was." Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Wednesday from 7 - 9 p.m and on Thursday from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Farringdon Burial Ground. Donations to RCL Branch #90 would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Donna in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
