WAKELING, Kirk Edward- Passed away unexpectedly at the Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton on Saturday, March 9, 2013 in his 45th year. Beloved husband of Wendy (nee: Cuthbert). Loving father of Devyn and Ava. Caring son of Ken and Barb Wakeling. Brother of Kim and her husband John Hardy, the late Jeff Wakeling (2009). Uncle of three nieces and two nephews. Kirk was an avid Boston Bruins fan and a member of the Brant County Snooker League. He worked for Summit Paving for many years. Friends will be received at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Saturday from 9-10 a.m. A Celebration of life will follow on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Dr. John Tweedie officiating. Cremation has taken place. A trust fund for Kirk's children's education has been set up at TD Canada Trust, Transit 03412, Inst. No. 004, Account#03416263137. A tree will be planted in memory of Kirk in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
