WHITTON, Thelma 1919-2008 - Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, January 16, 2008. Loving wife of the late Norman (1979). Beloved mother of Bill (the late Joyce), the late Marg, Nancy (Earl), Carole (Wayne), Bob (Joan), Sue (Pat), the late Ted (Bev), John (Anne), Jim (Mary), Terry (Judy), Randy (Terri), Rick (Darlene), Kate (Al) and Phillip (Tammy). Thelma is the loving sister of Lillian (Ray) and the late Joe (Florence). She will be fondly remembered as a loyal, compassionate, humorous friend to all who knew her. She is the loving grandmother of 25 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, 519-752-4331. Donations may be made in Thelma's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
