Obituary of Sarah Munroe

MUNROE, Sarah Elizabeth "Sally" - Passed away peacefully at Park Lane Terrace, on Sunday, December 30th, 2012 in her 91st year. Dear wife of the late Donald Hugh Munroe for over 30 years. Loving mother of Donald Munroe Jr., Ian Munroe and the late Bethy Munroe. Beloved grandmother of Jesse. Sister of the late Ralph Fritz, and aunt of Mary Pat Fritz. She will also be dearly missed by many other family and friends. Sarah devoted her entire life to her family and her community. She sat on the Community Living Brant Board and various other charitable organizations; was past president of the Hamilton Association for the Mentally Retarded and citizen of the year for Hamilton and Brantford. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013, from 7-9 p.m. A Private Family service will take place at a later date. Donations in lieu of flowers to Brant Community Living would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Sally in the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
