Obituary of John Calleya

CALLEYA, John "Jack" Lawrence Passed away peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice on Saturday, December 15th, 2012, in his 96th year. Loving husband of the late Mardie Calleya for over 60 years. Dear uncle of Vicki, Donnie, Ken, Jack, Kathie and Cody. Also survived by his sister-in-law Florence Calleya and special friends Carol and Bruce Kyle. Predeceased by his brothers Don (Marion) Calleya and Ken Calleya. He will also be missed by many other family members and friends. Jack worked for many years in Real Estate in the Brantford area and spent many winters in Florida. He was an avid fan of Horse Track Racing. Many thanks to the staff of Brierwood Gardens for their years of excellent care. At. Jack's request cremation has already taken place. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE,88 Brant Avenue, 519-752-4331. A tree will be planted in memory of Jack at the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
