Obituary of Robert Wilson

WILSON, Robert 'Bert" - Passed away peacefully at Charlotte Villa, on Friday, November 9th, 2012 in his 99th year. Beloved husband of the late Winnie (nee Rotchill, 1992). Loving father of Bob and his wife Lori, Marg and her husband Gerry Gamble, and Kathy and her husband Terry McClelland. Devoted "Grandpa" and "Great-Grandpa" to Erica and Amber Wilson, Katie (Ryan), Travis, and Evan Gamble, Kristen (Dan), Kyle (Sarah), and Kaitlin McClelland, and Colton and Archer Moore, Leslie and Holden McClelland, Alissa Gambacort, and Carter Linington. He is predeceased by his parents and all of his brothers and sisters. He will also be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave on Monday, November 12th, 2012 from 2 - 3 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Monday 3:00 p.m. Cremation. Bert's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Charlotte Villa, to the C.C.A.C., and Dr. Jeff Manning for their care and compassion. Donations to the Brantford General Hospital, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Bert in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
