Condolences
I'll miss you Dad, forever more
In my heart, you'll stay for sure.
I'll miss the laughter that we've shared,
And the days, we should've cared.
In my mind you'll still be here,
but in reality, you won't be near.
I will love you forever, this I know,
And have thoughts of you, until I go.
The day is here, now you're gone,
Off to heaven is your next door.
As your life ends, a new one begins,
And in heaven, we will meet again.
All my Love
Carol
what I want to remember about him is how great he really was to his family, friends and anyone who knew him. This is what I will always remember about my dad...
. He was once a great man, no man could ever compare to him. He raised 10 kids, held 2 full time jobs to keep us with everything we needed, we never went without anything. He was an amazing dad when I was a child.
He was the kind of dad no matter how much he worked Sunday was family day(before bars opened on sundays) We used to do yard work then play croquet in the backyard, he would make a rink for us in the winter time, that covered our entire backyard which is the size of half an nhl sized rink, doing so in between jobs and sleeping, spraying down the snow to make the ice just so we could skate anytime we wanted. He would even skate with us once or twice. Swimming in the summer in the backyard where he made sure we had a very big pool. The biggest above ground pool you could buy. We had new bikes every year for passing, a yearly trip in the summertime as well for passing.....
Christmas was an amazing time of year when you knew my dad. He is where I get my christmas nitch from. He was all about giving, not taking, not receiving. He would give to anyone and everyone. I loved this about my dad most..... He was an amazing dad.....
There was so much more to my dad than just the above but those times are what I will remember most about him.
I wasn't close to him in the end, we talked every few months or so, but he knew I loved him, he knew my children loved him so very much.
We will always keep his memory alive in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers.
