WILLIAMS, Ruth Marion - It is with great sadness, her family announces the sudden passing of Ruth Marion Williams, at the Brantford General Hospital, on Sunday, August 12th, 2012 in her 87th year. The angels have taken Ruth to be with her beloved husband Thomas Henry Williams (1989), her dear son Glenn Stuart (2010), and her son-in-law Gunner Robert Scott Davis (1983). She will be fondly remembered by her daughter Debbie and her husband Ron, her sisters-in-law Velma Locke, and Ellen Coltsman, her nieces, nephews, and many friends. She is predeceased by her brothers and sisters Irene Todd (1977), George Phillipo (1980), Stanley Phillipo (1996), and Grace Lundy (2010). Ruth and Tom were married in 1949. The third family generation to live on the Williams Farm, enjoying country life. Her time was devoted to family and friends. She enjoyed many crafts including hooking rugs, cake decorating, knitting, crocheting, painting, and puzzles. Special thanks to Revera Home Health for all of their care, especially Tracey, Cheryl, Scott, Renee, Carrie, and Scott. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Wednesday from 7 - 9 p.m. A Private Family Funeral Service will be held. The Venerable James Sutton Officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the S.P.C.A. would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Ruth in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
