Obituary of Dorothy Redpath

Redpath, Dorothy Iris (nee Usher) - It is with profound sadness that her family announces the passing of Dorothy Redpath, at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, May 29th, 2012 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Redpath. Loving mother of Robert (Karen) Redpath, Maureen Hall-Gilmore, the late Keith (Norma) Redpath, and Laurie (John) Redpath-Rolfe. Cherished grandma of Kristin (Paul), Meaghan (Ross), Jason (Paola), Erin-Celeste, Matthew, Brent, Mason, and Aidan, and her great-grandchildren Gabe and Abby. She is predeceased by her parents Arthur and Harriett Usher and her brothers Ernie and Norman, and her sister Elsie. She will also be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and many friends. Dorothy was a long time member of Sydenham United Church. Her sweet and gentle nature will be sadly missed. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and at Sydenham United Church, 120 Sydenham St., on Friday from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow at the church on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Brant, the SPCA, or Sydenham United Church would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Dorothy in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
