CORBETT, Richard John "Dick"- Passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 in his 76th year. Caring husband of Shirley Corbett (nee: Crane). Loving father of Richard (Darlene), the late Hubert, Ed (Cheryl), Shawn (Leanne), Diane (Morgan) Kusch, Derrick, Danny (Sandy Lee), and Glenn. Dear brother of Stan, Don, Burney, Adrian, Therese, Margaret, Catherine, Madonna, and Viola. Grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dick was born in Bell Island, NF and worked at the Wabana Iron Ore Mine. He moved to Brantford in 1966 when the mines closed down. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers,donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated.
