McCready, Robert "Bob" Harley - Passed away suddenly after a brief illness, at the St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton on Friday, May 11th, 2012 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Sandra for over 48 years. Loving father of Terry (Tammy), Jim (Lisa), and Scott (Mellissa). Devoted grandfather of Kayla, Brandon, Bryce, and Rebecca. He is survived by his sister Eleanor (Don) Goreman, and his brothers Bill (Nancy), and Jack (Laverne). Predeceased by his parents Garnet and Bertha, and his sister Joan Crawford. He will also be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, many close friends, and his dog Deezl and his cat Sebastian. He was a long time (38 year) retired employee of Ford Motor Co., Oakville. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., on Wednesday, May 16th, 2012 from 2 - 3 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. Cremation. Donations to the Brantford Dialysis Unit at the Brantford General Hospital, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Bob in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
