Obituary of James Beckham

Beckham, James Walter - Passed away Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton at the age of 68. Father of Kristie Beckham and Jill Jain (Vipin). Grandfather of Maya, Kiran and Halle. Brother of Sharon Barbosa (Leo). Predeceased by his twin brother Bill (April, 2012) and parents Hazel and Gene. Jim was a 34 year employee of Spruceleigh Farms and Maple Leaf Foods. He enjoyed many years of retirement doing what he loved best. Jim enjoyed fishing, cooking and spending time with his friends and family. He will be greatly missed by many. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Tuesday from 12-1 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Randall Mackenzie officiating. Interment of Jim's ashes will take place privately at Scotland Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jim in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
