ELKIN, Lois Ann (nee Flynn) - Suddenly, in her home on March 24th 2012. Lois Ann Elkin (Flynn) loving wife of David Elkin for 52+ years, mother of Colin Elkin (Kim Pitblado) and Tara Elkin (Kevin Collins), and dear Grandma "Nanna" to Austin, Carter, Harrison, and Curtis. Lois is survived by her brothers Richard and Robert Flynn both of Montreal, and niece Allison, as well as many cousins. Lois was active in Girl Guides of Canada for many years, an active member of St. Marks Anglican Church in Brantford, member of MOMACS, and volunteer for many charitable organizations. Friends and family will be received at BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Ave, on Wednesday, March 28th from 3-5p.m. & 7-9p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Marks Anglican Church, 155 Memorial Drive, on Thursday, March 29th at 3pm. Ven. Rev. Dr. Jim Sutton Officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to Girl Guides of Canada in Lois's honour will be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Lois at the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
