ION, Betty Louise "Bets" (nee Finch) - Surrounded by her loving family Betty passed away on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012, at St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre. We are comforted in knowing that she is in the arms of her late husband Donald Ion (2000); may the two of you be reunited in love and happiness. Precious mom of Cynthia Ion and Brent (Suz) Ion. Loving and devoted Nanny to her three grandchildren; Stacey (Paul), Jonathan (Sarah) and Robyn Dawn. Great-grandmother of Carson and Sullivan. Betty was an accomplished soloist and longtime member of the Brant Belle "A" Dears, and a dedicated volunteer at the Andrew Donaldson Developmental Daycare Centre for over 25 years. Betty served for many years on Erie Presbytery. Betty was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. She enjoyed her backyard garden or walking the beach at her second home in Florida.
