Crys.... it has been almost a month since you passed. The kids and I miss you very much. Everyone around us has pulled together to make sure we are ok. It helps a lot, but there is a missing part of us that went with you the day you passed away. This is where the three of us just hold onto each other tight and remember all the memories that we shared with you. When Gabe and Keely tell me they want their Mamma back, I tell them that you are physically a part of them, and I can see you through their bright blue eyes. The bright blues eyes that drew me to you when we first met, and kept me entranced for the rest of our time together. People tell us that time heals everything. I think that is partially true, but there is a lot more. With the love and caring you gave to everyone around you during your whole lifetime, everyone is now turning around and giving us the love and caring you shown them. We cannot thank everyone enough for this. Gabe, Keely, and I love you very much..... "to the moon and back... and that's a very long way.....

I knew Crystal years ago when we attended Pathfinders together. She was always so warm and friendly and a pleasure to be around. I don't ever recall her not laughing or smiling. My deepest condolences goes to her children, husband and family. My prayers are with you all. Tammy Smith

It is with sincere sadness that I hear about Crystal's passing. Although it has been too long since we've seen her, it is apparent from the pictures that she has been as great a mother to her own children as she was to mine when they were young. Crystal was such a beautiful person from the inside and out. For this reason, God blessed her with such a loving family. Her strength throughout her illness was unbelievable and her presence can still be felt today. She was one brave girl! It was her confidence and optimistic view of life that I admired the most about her in high school. Not one day she came to school saying she felt down. She would always say hello to everyone she would meet with her big smile and bright blue eyes. My only regret is that just when we reunited after a long departure, she was just ending her journey. I wish I could have spent some more time together. I will always cherish the special friendship we had. I will really miss her.
