Obituary of Craig Wabegijig

WABEGIJIG, Craig Garry - Peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 7th, 2012 in his 47th year. Beloved son of Carol and the late Garry Wabegijig of Sudbury. Loving brother of Bridget (Martin) of Toronto, Sherry of Brantford, Ula and Wade of Sudbury. Caring uncle of Serena Sagaj, Alycia, Miles, Nishka, the late Bryan Sagaj and Bryce. Nephew of Patrick, Carol (Roland) Nadjiwon and Sandra (Rick). Also survived by his cousins Cecilia, Arnold "Junior", Fred, Vera, Teala, Trevor, Kevin, Steven and Jessica of the U.S.A. Special cousins Jimmy Wabegijig and Francis Naponse. Sadly missed by his best friend Mario Fortin of Montreal. Also sadly missed by many cousins and friends from Sudbury, Whitefish First Nations, Wikemikong Unceded Reserve and Six Nations (many uncles, aunts, relatives and many many cousins). Special Uncle of Julian Sagaj and Drew Wythe. Predeceased by his grandparents Joseph and Cecile Wabegijig and uncles Arnold, Douglas, Garry and Marvin "Merv". Family and Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Saturday from 4-6 p.m. and Sunday from 10-1 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Cremation. Interment of ashes will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery at a later date. A tree will be planted in memory of Craig in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
