DERASP, Alan "Budgie" - Suddenly on Thursday, January 26th, 2012, Alan passed away while riding home. He was 60 years old. Much loved brother of Janet, Carol, Bob, Teresa and Mike. Dear son of Winnie and the late Bill Derasp. Alan was well known within the city and will be dearly missed by his `Soup Kitchen Buddies`. A Special thanks to the volunteers and support staff that make these kitchens possible. At Alan`s request cremation has already taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, 519-752-4331. Donations in lieu of flowers to your local soup kitchen or food bank would be greatly appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Alan in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
