Obituary of Leonard Hamilton

HAMILTON, Leonard "Len" - Surrounded by his loving family, Leonard passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8th, 2012 at the Brantford General Hospital, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Joan Hamilton for over 15 years. Dear father of John (Carolyn) Wildman, Keith Hamilton, Margaret Jackson and Amanda (Charles) Earl. Much loved grandfather of Ian, Corey and Jennifer and great-grandfather of Dylan, Julie and Nelson. Predeceased by his first wife Theresa Hamilton. He will also be dearly missed by many family members, friends and his co-workers from C.B.C. Leonard proudly served with the British Armed Forces during WWII. At Leonard's request cremation has already taken place. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, on Wednesday, January 11th, from 12-1 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Brantford General Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Len at the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
