Clark, Connie (nee Potter) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at the St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, on Sunday, November 20th, 2011 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Clark (1987). Loving mother of Beverley (Bruce) Lickers, and Marilyn (the late Jim) Welsh. Devoted grandmother of 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Mary Gambacourt. Predeceased by her twin sister Alice, and 3 other sisters, and 3 brothers. She will also be fondly remembered by her special friends at St. Joseph's Lifecare, Nellie, Robert, and Dolly, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Connie worked for many years for Agnew - Surpass Shoes, and loved her Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2011 from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 1- 2 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Connie in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
