GIVENS, Betty Doreen - Peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, October 20, 2011 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Keith Givens (1996). Loving mother of Greg and his wife Marilyn, Joanne and her husband Bill Bingham. Caring grandmother of Cindy, Nadine, Kelly and Colin. Great-grandmother of Aiden and Emma. Also survived by her sister Norma Bradley and brother Dave Howard. Predeceased by her brothers Ron and Bob Howard. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Friday from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Betty in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
