Jaynes career
Jayne at 17 started a long career in child care working with children barely younger than her in Alton at Hillsview chidrens group home and from there went to Humber College studying what she somehow already knew, child care. After graduating she began working for Peel county girls and boys group homes in Mississauga (2 yrs) where we 1st met on Nov 1st 1978. I knew than and she did too the love we’d share. We were married 5 1/2 months later after a 6 week engagement. Afterwards cane St Agatha’s children’s village in St Agatha (4 -5 yrs)driving daily from our home in Paris in her little lime green Honda. Then as a lunch mom at Queen ward school in Paris for about 4 yrs and me (45yrs ). It was here she crossed paths with a and talked about meeting a young boy barely 12 that she immediately took under her wing. A good kid. Eventually due to circumstance Jayne said she’d like to help and asked if we could bring him home. Luckily we were able to, so We did! Jeff arrived In spring of 1986 and has been in our lives ever since bringing us two loving Grandsons Korbin and Tucker. That was GM as Jayne wanted to be called or Grandma as the kids lovingly called her (DO NO HARM)
She left child care altogether to raise Jeff one on one I was the 3rd wheel. Her career now was family, first and foremost
Secondly her love of animals 4 Boxers from little puppies too 4 rescue’s from Ontario, Michigan and as far away as Mexico landed in our home. All equally loved. She always zeroed in on the harder life’s some were living. All settled quickly with her love and devotion, learning to trust learning how to play and quickly giving us there love. She was always rescuing birds squirrels rabbits, even trees and plants. Don’t kill the dandelions or spray the bees ( Jayne was terrified of them ( but overcame that fear )she would send me out to a garage sale in the heat of August to rescue a budgey in distress in a cage clearly way to big for it as afterwards I found in flying around in the houseceith the ceiling fans or a cockatiel that was kept in a closet.
Hurt rabbits and squirrels, baby birds fallen from trees were common visitors in homemade beds of boxes and towels till she nursed them back fed them with eye droppers or got them veterinarian care lots of time from her Susan who did the same thing with Lou Gosling to a n eagle. And so it went on and continued with a bed of blankets in a box for a stray feral cat (DO NO HARM)
A HEALTHY tree a mother tree a Huge Maple tree on the fringe of our property was chopped down by the County of Brant down using an excuse it was rotted (NOT) full of Ants (NOT) Jayne in tears promptly went out with her thick black magic marker and Memorialized it by inscribing. This Maple tree was murdered by the county of Brant on august 12th 201
TURN, TURN, TURN
To everything turn, turn, turn
There is a season turn, turn, turn
There is a season turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under Heaven
A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep
To everything turn, turn, turn
There's a season turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under Heaven
A time to build up, a time to break down
And a time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones
A time to gather stones together

To everything turn, turn,turn
There is a season turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under Heaven
A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace
A time to refrain from embracing
To everything turn, turn, turn
There is a season turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under Heaven
A time to gain, a time to lose
A time of rain, a time to sow
A time for love, a time for hate
A time for peace. I swear it's not too late
