Ellis, William - Passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday October 24th, 2024, at 97 years of age. He has been reunited with his wife, Laurel (2018). Loving father of Dean (Cher) and Mary. Cherished grandfather of Julie, Jessa, Robyn, Kat and Laura. Great grandfather to Dania, Olivia, Ben, Jayden and Django. Great-great grandfather to Atlas. Bill was a Signal Supervisor with CNR for many years. He enjoyed traveling, curling and golfed well into his 90's. He will be greatly missed by his dear friend Carol and many other friends and family members. He was a true gentleman. A Celebration of Life will be held at Queensway Baptist Church on November 10th at 1230. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331.
A tree will be planted in memory of Bill in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
