Sliwa, Edward - Passed away peacefully at the Stedman Hospice on Saturday, October 12th, 2024 at 66 years of age. Deeply missed by his brothers Robert 'Bob' and Peter (Cathy). Fondly missed by his nephew Rob (Stephanie). Remembered by Jerry (Irene) and their children Sean and Michelle. He will be remembered by his long time best friends of 60 plus years Richie and 30 plus years Shelli. He will be deeply missed by many cousins and extended family and friends. The family wish to thank Dr. Myers from Juravinski Hospital and the wonderful staff at the Stedman Hospice for their care and support of Edward during his stay there. He will be fondly missed by all who knew him. Family and friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331 on Friday, October 18th, 2024 from 10:00 am until the service time at 11:00 am. Service of Remembrance will commence in the chapel at 11:00. Interment to follow at Oakhill Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Stedman Hospice or the Juravinksi Hospital would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Edward in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
