Obituary of Kelly Forshaw

Forshaw, Kelly- Passed away suddenly after a courageous battle with depression and anxiety. Deeply missed by her best friend and husband David Forshaw, son Jason and Daughter Kristie. Fondly remembered by her Dad Patrick Weadick, Brother Steven, Brother Kevin and Sister Jodie. Predeceased by her Mother “Molly” Elizabeth Weadick. Kelly was deeply involved with the Beaver section of Scouting for 20 years. Running many camps and activities over the years. She was a “Mother” to Beavers while at Camp or at the activities that she participated in. She will be missed and remembered by all the Leaders she worked with and also many Beavers who have grown up as the years have passed. Kelly also helped with Camps for the Scouting movement over the years, including WIC, Stoney Creek International Camp, the Pioneering Camp and Group camps for the 6th Guelph Scout Group. Kelly will also be missed by the great people she worked with at Jefferson Elora Corporation in Elora. Kelly enjoyed being in the outdoors of this great country, a passion shared with her Husband, David, with whom she took many hikes and walks, learning about the Flora and Fauna as they walked through life together. She also enjoyed travelling to Vancouver Island, to visit with her son, Jason, and down to the East Coast to Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. Her children were very important to Kelly, and she enjoyed setting up a Christmas tree every year and piling presents under it for Jason and Kristie. She will be remembered as a Kind, Caring and compassionate person who was always will help anyone if she could. Family and friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331 on Tuesday, June 18th from 12:00 until the service time at 2:00 pm. Funeral Service will commence in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. If desired donations to your local Mental Health Care Organization would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Kelly in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest. ~"Kelly, you're at peace, now it's time to find ours"
