Dear Irene, Dennis and Shirley,
I recall lively conversations seated at the kitchen table, of which your mom
was never shy to voice her opinions or share ideas.
All the while we would be sipping tea and munching of some of her
home-baked goodies of which none could compare.
I remember well tended flowerbeds that always amazed me with the
abundance of blooms. Some which your mom firmly believed was due
to the metal pyramid contraption that she put over the plants. Who knows?
I think seeing her flower beds seeded my interest in gardening.
I am sure all of you have many memories of your mother to share
with one another now.
with sincere sympathy,
Joan
