My deepest condolences to Brad's family. This is certainly a shock, and so sad. I've retired from the Union Gas head office, but while there, for many years enjoyed tremendously Brad's input in testing the drafting application. He was kind, hilariously funny, extremely smart and dedicated, and great to work with. Somewhere yet, I have his printout of how cold the weather could get "back home". Certainly he will be missed by many.
I moved in to the upstairs apartment in the semi detached on Victoria St. In Brantford. Brad and Cindy and the kids lived next door. Not long after Brad invites me over. I met my wife Rhonda at Brad's. We now have two wonderful children. Our families were always close. I will never forget all the good times. Rest in peace my good friend. You will be missed but never forgotten.
Brad is back in heaven....he was and is truly a special soul. I was lucky to have known him and to call him my friend. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
Brenda, Paul, Andrew, David, Cameron, Anna , Basil & Blaise- I am thinking of you and am so very sorry for your loss. Condolences to you all of you and to Brad’s children. Love, Shelley
Dad, I miss you so much! We've shared so many good memories and experiences together. I loved being your fishing buddy and camping trips when I was younger and all the Sunday BBQs and dinners we had when I moved back to Ontario. I am so lucky to have the memory of you walking me down the aisle and I know you were so proud of me.
You have been taken to us far too soon - I wish we were still planning your 60th birthday. I love you so much.

My deepest condolences to Brad’s family. I had the pleasure of working with Brad at Union Gas (Enbridge) until I retired in 2023. I would run into him in the copy room where he would often speak of his children and grandchildren and you knew from how he spoke of them how proud he was of his family. I was shocked to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. Too young to have left us, hoping that he has left you all beautiful memories of happier times.

Dear Blaise, Basil and Brenda and of course all of the family. I’m so sad to hear you have lost Brad. I have such wonderful memories of Brads great smile in high school peeking out from those bangs he liked to wear long. He was a gentle soul who touched everybody he met. Sincere condolences. De-Ann Sheppard (LCC class 1981)
This is such sad news. I am truly in shock reading this. I remember Brad as the 'cool' guy who played in a band...I envied him for that. Music was so important to him and a bigger fan of BTO could not be found anywhere. Although we lost touch over the years, Facebook was helpful in finding him and many old friends. I finally managed to visit Brad about ten years ago in southern Ontario. It was a blast to catch up with him. Always a great guy, I am sure he will be missed. Please accept my condolences to all of Brads family and friends.
Dear Basil, Blaise, Brenda, Stephanie, Ryan, Kayla & Families;
Our sincerest sympathies on the loss of Brad. Brad was a wonderful man and a beautiful soul. The world is less bright without him and I know I'll cherish my memories of our time spent together growing up and his many trips to Nova Scotia over the years.
May he rest in peace.

I am in shock at the passing of my good friend. I will cherish the memories of our younger years waiting for Brad to arrive from Nfld to NS to begin his summer vacation. Although we lived far apart later in life Brad always made time for a call or visit and to give updates on each other's children and grandchildren. He was a proud Dad and Grandfather and will be greatly missed by all. To Basil,Blaise Brenda and the children Brad was the true meaning of the man,the myth,the legend.

I had the pleasure of working with Brad for a number of years. We spent a lot of time sharing our love for and frustration with our beloved Toronto Maple Leafs. I was also very happy to find a fellow lover of Rush. Brad was a good man who helped me and my team through numerous damages and outages. There was never anyone I wanted in drafting more than Brad. He will be missed by all at the gas company. Sincere condolences to the entire family.
