I first met my Aunt Vicky from Canada around 1960, and last saw her in 2022 when we visited to celebrate her 100th Birthday. Whenever I visited Canada Vicky and John were wonderful hosts and so kind and helpful. They were like my adoptive parents for the duration of my stay, especially in 1976 when I didn't have a lot of money ! It was an absolute pleasure to spend Aunt Vicky's 100th Birthday with her and enjoy the Champagne and an excellent lunch at her favourite eatery, The Olde School Restaurant. The memories will remain with me forever.
Aunt Tory, Elaine, my Mom Nettie & I had lunch at the Barrel Restaurant in Simcoe. I treasure the times we got together and shared memories. Aunt Tory is holding the picture of her sister (my grandmother) Marion. Aunt Tory was always so kind when she spoke of Nana and she made me smile when she would talk about my Dad and call him "Bobby".
A beautiful, kind & gracious lady. She set a good example for others to follow.
You will be missed Aunt Tory
