Winters, Edward Anthony 1936-2023 Passed away peacefully at the John Noble Home on Thursday December 21st , 2023 at 87 years of age. Beloved husband of Donna and loving father of Ralph (Cindy), Greg (Lori) , Nancy (Steve), Bill (Kim), and Diane (Pat). Predeceased by his daughter Linda (2023) and infant great- grandson Dillon de Leeuw (2023). He is fondly remembered by his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his immediate and extended family and friends. Ed loved to serve people. He served his church and his family and that act of service continued into his work at Loblaws serving customers. He loved his Lord and was devoted to his faith and trust in Jesus, his family, friends and church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Canadian Cancer Society or The Brantford Salvation Army. Family and friends will be received at The Brantford Salvation Army Community Church, 33 Diana Avenue, Brantford on Friday December 29th , 2023 from 11am until the service time at 1pm. A Celebration of Life service will then commence at 1pm. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford, 519-752-4331. A tree will be planted in memory of Ed in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
