On December 12, 2023, Morty Bilmes passed away at the age of 84. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Fay Bilmes and survived by; his three children Sam (Tracy), Gary (Carol) and Selina (Brant), his 7 grandchildren; Courtney (Scott), Clayton (Sonia), Ashley (Kfir), Melanie (Will), Robert (Holly), Nick (Rebecca), and Jeremy (Sheryl), and his 21 great grandchildren; Nathan, Kieran, Brynlee, Mila, Lennox, Joel, Felicity, Isaac, Matan, Isabella, William, Nicole, Rebekkah, MacKenzie, Avery, Ellie, Hunter, Haden, Hazel, Hudson, and Zoey-Lucille.
Family will receive friends and relatives at the Beth David Jewish Cemetery 169 Charing Cross Street, Brantford for a graveside service Thursday, December 14, at 1pm. Shiva to be held at the home of Sam Bilmes following the service.
Morty’s family wishes to express their gratitude to the Dearness Home in London for the excellent care they provided over the last 3+ years
