Condolences
Dear Marg
Heartfelt sympathy in the loss of Rhea.

Rhea was a great neighbor to my family since I was born that always had a smile on her face and a warm hello when you knocked on the front door. Rhea could talk for hours about animals, books, childhood memories, music and more. One of the greatest memories I had with Rhea was when we were sitting on the bench in the backyard and she pointed at different types of birds that were flying in the sky and she told me the name of each one. I am truly grateful that my family became neighbors with Rhea and Marg and shared great memories.
Always loved, never forgotten, forever missed.
Love you,
Alex Schmidt

We have lost a treasured family member with Rhea's passing. We cannot begin to recount the many times that Rhea brought joy and laughter to both our family gatherings and to Marg‘s life. She was a devoted aunt to our sons, Davis and Greg, and was part of many special memories at our family cottage. You are and will be missed, Rhea. Much love, Terry, Jane, Davis and Greg.
Hugs to all. Many years ago Rhea and her mom lived about a block from a bunch of us nurses who just graduated and were working at BGH. Rhea was in teachers college and we all had such fun when we got together. Admittedly, there was a bit of nonsense that went on. Rhea had such a sense of humour and was so quick-witted and you could talk to her about anything. When her mom passed I stayed with her for a few weeks - tough times as they were very close. Eventually, we persuaded her to sell the home, and she moved to Pippin Avenue. Then there was our “Little Specks” baseball team at McMaster, and then Marg teamed up with Rhea. What a blessing - they were such fun. I truly believe that God has blessed their partnership. I love you both.

My condolences to Margaret and all of Rhea's family.Rhea was a mentor to me when I began my teaching career and her insight and compassion made a lasting impression on all her students - and anyone who shared time with her felt enriched . I will always fondly remember Rhea.

Rhea has been our neighbor for over 20 years. We'll miss her cheery wave to say Hello, how are you? We send our prayers to Margaret as she embarks on a new chapter in her life.
Our sincere sympathy to Rhea's family. Rhea was an honest, hard working teacher who was a strong advocate for her students and believed in their potential. She was always considered a true friend.
Sincere condolences from Jack and Anne Smith (nee Ford) of Lake Dore, and also from our children Tammara, Carey & Desiree, and our grandchildren Lucy, Heidi, and Dean, to Margaret (our dear Margie), Jane, Terry and sons, Davis and Greg, and Sheila, (our Cousin Don, gone too soon also) as well as their extended family of Ford cousins. Rhea, we know, delighted in all of them!
Our joy as the Lake Dore Clan was waving from the boats, calling out to Rhea and Margie over the slapping waves, dropping in for games, or visiting, and enjoying gales of laughter. Rhea loved our Christmas in the summer celebration at Lake Dore, and snuggling with the dogs on the dock, to the calls of loons! Her memory lives on in this northern spot!
