Obituary of Linda Winters

Linda Marie Winters 1963 – 2023 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Linda on Tuesday September 4, 2023, at the age of 60 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a beloved daughter of Edward and Donna Winters and devoted sister to Ralph [Cindy], Greg [Lori], Nancy [Steve], Bill [Kim] and Diane [Pat]. She was also an adored and cherished aunt to her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was also loved by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Linda will be deeply missed by everyone in her immediate and extended family. Linda was exceedingly devoted to her faith and her trust in Jesus, her family, friends, and church. She blessed so many by sending the first greeting cards of every occasion to everyone she knew. For over 20 years, she faithfully volunteered at the Riverview Terrace Long Term Care. She also enjoyed traveling, boating, needle work and taking many photographs. Linda always looked forward to the holiday celebrations as she always loved a great party. Our sincerest thanks for the care, Linda received from the doctors and staff at The Willett Hospital and Juravinski Cancer Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Juravinski Cancer Centre in Hamilton ON Family and friends are invited to A Celebration of Life on Monday September 11, 2023, at The Brantford Salvation Army Community Church, 33 Diana Ave. Visitation is at 11am - 1pm. The Celebration of Life Service will then immediately follow. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave.,Brantford, 519-752-4331. A tree will be planted in memory of Linda in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
