Heys, Robert Bruce 'Bob' - Our family lost a loving husband, dad, brother, Grandpa and friend today. Bob passed peacefully on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Cheryl for 44 years. Left with sad hearts, but wonderful memories are his children Dee (Hank), Vicki (late Myles) and Cory (Susan). Proud Grandpa to Thomas, Emily, Evan and Avery. Bob will be missed by extended family and friends. Bob retired in 2004 as a respected employee from Cascades Dominion/Hartmann after a rewarding 40 plus year career with them. He will be fondly missed by all who knew him. Family and friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331 on Friday, September 1st, 2023 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Celebration of Life will follow from 7:30-9:00 in the Magnolia Suite at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Bob in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
